TekSpan Profile Connections
TekSpan’s versatility as a support frame is well-known and proven – but are you aware of the many ways to connect services to the TekSpan profile? Let’s take a look here at just how simple this superb frame system is to connect to.
1. Threaded Rod Connectors
Drawing on the same principle as the TekSpan T-lock, the threaded rod connector simply locks into the profile slots and offers a direct-to-profile connection for suspension of threaded rods. Simply insert the connector T-section, apply a quarter-turn, and tighten by hand / with a spanner. Choose from M10 / M12 M 16 options.
2. Rod-through-profile
It’s simple but effective; install an M10 or M12 threaded rod right through both sides of the profile and secure each side with a square plate washer and hex nut to create a strong and secure suspension rod.
3. Direct to channel
Want to use standard channel / Unistrut in conjunction with TekSpan? Then simply use the T-lock bolt with heavy plain washer to direct-connect. That way you can build a superstructure using the TekSpan frame, and a lighter gauge channel system for the internal parts of the frame, and what’s more, you can easily fit standard channel brackets to TekSpan too, further maximising it’s versatility.
